Syracuse contacts Rutgers decommit, will host quarterback on visit this weekend

Syracuse, N.Y. — Class of 2026 quarterback Gavin Sidwar decommitted from Rutgers on Sunday night.
Later that night, Syracuse – who had already offered Sidwar back in January – reached out, determined to get him up to a game. Sidwar is teammates with Class of 2025 wide receiver Julian McFadden, who committed to the Orange in April.
